Galway Pumpkin Patch takes place on the scenic grounds of Castletaylor Estate in Ardrahan in South Galway. Each Halloween season we welcome thousands of visitors from all corners of Ireland to our Pumpkin Patch. We are proud to have been the first Pumpkin Patch to open on the Western seaboard and have added multiple attractions to our event to make it a memorable day for both young and the young at heart! In 2023 we also added Sunflower Picking to our calendar of events and that too has been well received. Tickets for Sunflower Picking are available at the gate, while tickets for the Pumpkin Patch will go on sale in early September.
Pumpkins
Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere! Pumpkins of all colours shapes and sizes are available at the Patch – you will certainly have no problem sourcing your perfect pumpkin whether its for carving or simply decorative purposes.
Meet our Farm Animals
Our farm animals are one of the Pumpkin Patch’s most popular attractions. We have some rare breed sheep, chickens, a Shetland pony and sporadic visits from the Alpacas at Glenbrook Alpaca farm.
Enjoy our Playgrounds
We have a dedicated toddlers playground with lots to do for the smallies including a construction corner, playhouses and mud kitchens. We also have a second playground with slides, a climbing frame and monkey bars, for slightly older children.
Cartoon Characters
Meet everybody’s favourite Disney characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse – we have noticed the children anbso love these guys….and this year we will be introducing some new characters to the Pumpkin Patch!
